Tamarind was highly recommended so I took four colleagues for a holiday dinner. We chose the set menu £72/pp) and drank several bottles of wine and cocktails. Total bill was almost £700 and we all would have been happier with a dive place on Brick Lane. The servers didn't walk us through the menu or make recommendations.
