What Clyde Howell likes about The Cow:
Haven’t been here in ten years and was a bit wary but boy it did not disappoint. The seafood platter was sooooooo fresh. Prawns were super juicy and sweet and full of roe. The oysters were plump and fresh. And my favourite fish stew was THE BOMB. Slightly spicy. Super tasty. OMG. Can’t wait to come back. Service was great too. View all feedback.
What Michaela Wegener doesn't like about The Cow:
We had Sunday lunch upstairs. It was really quiet only our table and another group booking of 6 or so. Therefore lacking at atmosphere and ambience. It’s a nice dining room and I can see how it could be vibey. We had the pint of prawns which were a little disappointing. The roast made up for it, though. The beef perfectly cooked and great roasties and carrots. View all feedback.
Had a wonderful meal here my second. Are upstairs in the lovely intimate dining room. The food was delicious and the service, delightful.
Guinness straight from the udder.....fresh and pure.
