What Elizabeth Tugyi doesn't like about The Cumberland Arms:
Genuinely terrible service. We booked on First Table and paid a £6 deposit. When we arrived the serving staff were incredibly rude and the place was totally empty (clearly a sign). We sat down and wanted to give the restaurant a chance so ordered a pint. But the staff members continued to be rude by loudly swearing and totally ignoring our requests for menus. So pleased that my hubby returned to his old work place after 33 years and it went still strong.
My favorite London pub.... Good food, excellent setting next to a park, friendly service,!

A very nice place... very much in the hand, the portions are really abundant. the staff you service me friendly and kind.
Remove the direction from South Kensington and you land with a much less sought-after neighborhood, and as aptly described by others, by a desolation alike that of small parts of the Shire should’ve Smaug ever found his way there. No burning buildings, mind you, but emptiness and a cold harsh wind that blows from the west.
