What Richard likes about The Green:
Classic Sunday roast; we had beef Wellington and pork belly, and both were perfect. Accompanied by roasted veggies, potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and a decent wine. Fun place, mostly 30-somethings our youngest kid's age, so fine for the mature set, too). View all feedback.
What Salena doesn't like about The Green:
The service was great and the bar area was lively and fun. The ambiance is also light and pleasant. Sadly the food left a lot to be desired the menu wasn’t diverse or thought out (no vegan options all fish and red meat). The lamb dish was flavourless and oily, with beautiful presentation but sadly very poorly seasoned. Such a nice pub, really cozy and friendly atmosphere! The staff is really friendly. Perfect for a drink or two or three...
A good welcome and a lovely place for a well organised drink during these tricky covid times. Good tables in the sun and not crowded.
