What Michael M likes about Carpenters Arms:
Best bar in the area. The management worked very hard to maintain the authentic 70’s East end vibe. A true historic monument restored in time. Come here for a slice of history and a pint for £3.95. Prices impossible to match in central london these days. Cost of living crisis is no problem here Come and enjoy. You will probably meet Del boy and Trigger as well. You will amazing people here !! Popped in for some food. As a few other have said it's a good mix between a more modern food menu and the good/cheap beer and look of an older London...
One of the first pub dinners we had after getting into town and taking care of some other business, we were starving and tired and really loved the place...
