"Stopped for dinner at Mackie's because I heard how great it was. After waiting in line like cattle I ordered fries and their signature Orangeade. I asked if the line ups were normal and the girl at the counter said the nice weather makes them long. The fries were average, bridge fries are better, the fry sauce is way too sweet, but the Orangeade was very good. I might try it again on a colder day so there's less of a line up and drink more Orangeade."

"It was a beautiful day on Sept 23rd, so we put the top down and headed to Port Stanley. Around noon, we decided to stop at Barnacles Beerhouse for lunch and got a seat on the Patio. Our Server was quick to take our order...and serve our drinks. That is were it ended!! She was obviously very busy and was rushing around. We waited over an hour (75mins) for our pickerel lunches and when they arrived the fries were stone cold and no condiments or cutlery was delivered. We politely advised her and our server reluctantly snatched back our meals and later said that the cook was redoing them. An additional 30 minute wait. When the Bill arrived, we commented that the fish was excellent however the wait was extremely long. Our Server said, I 'm the only one here, what do you expect me to do about it? I said, Maybe you could adjust our bill for the inconvenience . She said, Absolutely Not and walked off. As she left she commented, You can just leave and never come back. As she returned to the Restaurant, she slammed the door. She returned a few minutes later to clear the table and I said, We are prepared to pay the bill and were just looking for an adjustment. She said, You just want something for nothing. Just get out, leave and never come back! We have never been treated so rudely and unprofessionally. We did leave and will Never come back!!!!!!
