Cajun Crawfish Hut - Long Beach

The food is excellent here and in some kind of fun environment. The original restaurant was destroyed by Katrina and rebuilt like a huge concrete box on stilts. The owner told me one night that even the windows are rated for over 200 miles per hour winds. You have an elevator and a staircase. You can dine inside or on your balcony with several tables and have a look at the Mississippi sound (the sound is the flatter part of the Gulf of Mexico in front of the barrier islands. Your spicy Cajun Crawfish are great and not too much heat. For about $8 you can get a pound of cancer, a boiled potato and a boiled corn on the coal (all cooked and served together. I enjoyed her fried shrimps. Your King Red are great and for $10, much cheaper than the tourist restaurants. Everything was delicious. This is a great place to stop and dinate or take out as you pass 90. An important note. They are closed on Monday. So if you're over Monday, you'll miss.

During the weekday was not as busy as expected. Cuisine was on point for area and season. Service was fast and friendly. All employees including the cook was out in the dining areas, between orders, making small talk which added to this eaterys overall charm. Price was comprobable to other places in the area (family of 5 about 100$ I will visit again in the near future.

Absolutely the best lunch!! Exactly what we wanted! Came in town for Casinos did a little drive down the beach. The outside may detour you but don’t let it, just needs a little TLC but the food is absolutely amazing! We had fried pickles, crawfish, Parmesan oysters, corn and potatoes.. will absolutely be back. The staff is very friendly and clean place!

The Diamond on the Coast Safe This place you can go once 2 and not wait to again the next time to eat your favorite seafood dishes, I come here 6 years While I am on vacation. My favorite is the shrimp pool for lunch and the captain's board for dinner. If you have the best ride over the rest check It out Beautiful golf view from the terrace or give them a holler if you have a big party they have everything you need.

Absolutely love this place, small and local. People working there are fantastic. I feel terrible that they are so short and people cannot get to work, but they always serve fresh perfectly cooked dishes.
