Food is mediocre. If you think the food is good you have very simple tastes. For some reason I didn't make the cut to work here as a teenager. I knew a couple idiots who were hired. Now I do books for a company that makes hundreds of millions in revenue. Go figure. Bet the owner wishes they knew what those numbers looked like. View all feedback.
If you plan to dine in, be prepared to wait. This place is incredibly popular. We ordered take out the last time we were there. We ordered several chicken pot pies. A few were frozen for later. If you like chicken pot pie, be prepared for your taste buds to be blown. The gravy in the pie alone would hold its own as a hearty soup. The chicken is delicious and the crust is something else. If you're a fan of lemon merengue pie, get there early, because they sell out of them fast. Update: 8/22/23: Today we ate in. As usual there was a wait, and this was on a Tuesday morning! My wife and I shared a cheeseburger combo with onion rings. Both were delicious. The onion rings are covered in panko crumbs, so they are really light and flavorful. I highly recommend them. The service is great and the staff are warm and welcoming. Update: 07/15/24: My wife and I had breakfast here on Sunday morning, and as has been the case in the past, the service was great, the food was awesome, and the wait was still there.
From the East Coast. Our Air BNB hosts suggested this breakfast spot. Wowser! Enjoyed the bacon, spinach, mushroom and cheese omelette with extra crispy home fries, and chocolate chip muffin. Delightful, delicious, with attentive service. What more could you ask?

I just love this place. Always consistent. Huge portions that last 2 meals. Ingredients are high quality. Service is always fast and friendly.
This place was absolutely amazing. A comfort food spot that truly hits the spot with delicious food and great service. I had the chicken fried steak meal which was the best I ever had. Super flavourful from the cutlet to the toast. Highly reccomended for anyone visiting Long Beach!
