"I was in the house last night with some friends, and it was such a wonderful night. I participated in veganuary and decided to go on and this restaurant made me so welcome and made the whole experience so easy! one of the most vegan friendly places I visited and it is right at our doorstep! the owner even came out to explain my options and ask if I was satisfied with them all. such a wonderful experience from a meaty restaurant and eating was also amazing (as it is always! many thanks for a great night."

"I really enjoyed the roast dinner. Parsnip, braised red cabbage, leek and cauliflower cheese... And extra gravy. All my favourite things as part of the standard roast. The servers did a great job. Pub was busy but the atmosphere was nice and the Old fox team were doing a great job. Just wished I'd had room for dessert. I look forward to my next visit. Price per person: £20–30"

"Disappointing… waiting staff super miserable and unhelpful. Ordered kids meals which the menu said came with beans but were served peas. When questioned, the peas were returned and we were told they had run out of beans. It seemed like the staff couldn’t care less about anyone or anything! Beef was cut very thick, chewy and was nowhere near pink. The wine was nice but not at £10 per 250ml!!! Too expensive for the poor quality. Bar staff were lovely but that’s probably my only positive."
