One shouldn't have to ask for a hot cup of coffee but so many places seem to serve it luke warm, so it was absolutely fantastic to have a cup of coffee served at perfect heat with outhaving to ask for it. We were there on a Friday night and were the only customers. The food was basic but OK and reasonably priced. However, the establishment looked and felt very run down and as much as the waitress was friendly, the other staff seemed indifferent and bored. This restaurant has a lot of history and memories, but needs to be bought up to scratch as it looks like it is on its last legs. We wouldn't bother returning. read more.
