"Some of the best fish and chips I can remember having. Excellent quality fish, perfect crispy batter and chips that were crisp on the outside and soft inside. Cooked to order. An absolute gem. Beware they are only open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Highly recommended."

"Brilliant place! We've been twice now. Go when the quiz is on its so well organised, there is a break half way through the quiz so you can use the facilities, have your meal and drink, have a chit chat and socialise with the other teams. Superb! I had the mussels in white wine sauce Delicious! Others had burgers, etc. Food must've been good because plates were empty. Service was brilliant."

"Best restaurant in Los alcazares .It's our third night in Los alcazares and El Chato is the best restaurant so far.The friendly staff the excellent food the beautiful wine and the ambience make it the No 1 place to eat. We had the Bao bun with pulled pork and the prawns in garlic for starters both excellent .Then we had the pork chop and acorn fed pork for mains with vegetables both excellent. For dessert we had grandma's cake with vanilla ice cream and carrot cake.Looking forward to going back again on Thursday night."
