"Brilliant place! We've been twice now. Go when the quiz is on its so well organised, there is a break half way through the quiz so you can use the facilities, have your meal and drink, have a chit chat and socialise with the other teams. Superb! I had the mussels in white wine sauce Delicious! Others had burgers, etc. Food must've been good because plates were empty. Service was brilliant."

"It was so good we ate here twice this visit Seating inside and out is basic but comfortable Lovely staff always welcomed with a smile Great wine and beer , perfect food , cooked fresh when ordered , large portions too Would recommend the pork and peppers , lamb chops or steak and egg Not expensive You can eat outside and look st the Mar Menor Also lovely clean toilets"

"We thought we would try this restaurant as people had said it was lovely. When we were seated,waitress took our drinks order,a chilled bottle of red wine and a glass of sangria. I was asked a glass or jug,so I said glass again please. Wine was served then we waited and waited. Waitress came to take food order,we asked where the sangria was and that the chilled red wine was actually warm! Our starter of chicken wings were basically cooked in a deep fat fryer,very tough. 3 of our party ordered duck,I ordered beef in black bean. The duck came out and it was lukewarm.my beef dish was fine. Rice was warm but not piping hot as it should be. I went in to ask for manager so waitress sent over another waitress so I asked her was she the manager, she said no manager too busy! So I said I would stand all night if I have to. About 5 mins later manager came out,if she was we don't know. So I explained how our evening was going. She came out and said sorry kitchen very busy! 3 of us are or have been in catering most of our lives so we know the score. However she just laughed and said enjoy your holiday,happy holidays would you like some free drinks! We all looked at each other and said no we don't want free drinks and we are not on holiday, we live here! So again she laughed and said I give you 20%off your bill and don't come out to restaurants here in August as its too busy!! Seriously! So because its peak holiday time residents shouldn't go to restaurants. So much dishes were taken away. This is not how you run a restaurant. We will defo not be back even after holiday season! There were plenty of waiting staff on and 1 chef had came out 3 times for a cigarette so they cannot blame being too busy. Very disappointing esp when you go out for a meal and look forward to a good night. Please don't waste your time or money here."

"Some of the best fish and chips I can remember having. Excellent quality fish, perfect crispy batter and chips that were crisp on the outside and soft inside. Cooked to order. An absolute gem. Beware they are only open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Highly recommended."
