What Brianna Lasseter doesn't like about Eggslut Beverly Center:
Overall I enjoyed my experience. The staff was very nice and the place was clean. Not tons of seating available but if you wait for your food a spot is bound to open up. I was really excited to try this place as all the photos look bomb, but unfortunately the food looks better than it tastes in my opinion. I didn’t hate it but didn’t love it and don’t think I would return here any time soon. I got the Fairfax and add... View all feedback.
My friends have been telling me about Eggslut for a long time. I finally came and it did not disappoint!Food: 5/5
I am at the top 1 percent or 5 percent of customers who order from Eggslut via Uber eats. I love it! I always go with Fairfax scrambledFood: 5/5
Friend mentioned going to this location since it's not in NY and wanting breakfast items, why not?I tried the Eggslut which I definitely loved, just had much of the salt on top. I'm guessing better stirred in more since the egg is on top of the mashed potato. The sandwich is also pretty big and filling as well. Loved the meal!
My only complaint about this location is that I wish it was open past 2pm. As I was staying at Cedars for a few day, often times I couldn't sneak out for lunch until around that time which meant I missed the window of oportunity a few times. Thankfully on the final day I was finally able to make it out. The staff was incredibly friendly and did a great job taking my order quickly (which isn't hard since they have a small menu) and, despite them being somewhat busy, the cooking staff did an amazing job cranking out my order so I could be on my way. I was really impressed at how well oiled the machine was. The interior is small. It's clearly meant more for takeout than dining in. There's also little space for a line to order so if it's busy, there's a good chance you could be standing outside. But luckily the line will move around quickly. As with every other Eggslut location I've been too, the food here is amazing. I will say the tots are a tad on the salty side, but beyond that, you really can't go wrong with anything on this menu. The perks of having a small menu is you know they will make what they do have on there well. They don't hide behind heavy sauces/gimics/etc. They make sure their egg is front and center in everything and they taste great! So in the end, this location is great. And I love that it's on the outside of the Beverly Center so you don't need to walk through a busy mall to get to it. If you're in the area, I highly suggest you make a pitstop and pick up some breakfast/lunch.
Kevin was so nice during my visit today that I'm finally leaving a review after so many visits here. My drive to this area took over an hour so I ended up practically throwing my car in the garage and running over, making in with a minute left on their 2pm closing time. Kevin took my order and invited me to sit and eat even though they are closing, especially since I was huffing and puffing, being pregnant, though not totally visibly yet... I got to discover today that their truffle hashbrown was heavenly! The sandwich is heavy that I usually didn't get sides but it was a rough day and I wanted anything that can help me feel better. And it did. I live for crunch and that thing had crunch on every corner, every bite, down to the last crumb, with abundant amount of truffle scent and taste, and soft buttery insides. The sandwich was juicy and creamy as always and the the fresh juice was a nice boost, that made my baby in utero wiggle in happiness. It was a real good stopover between the craziness of the day, such comfort food with wonderfully inviting staff.
