I tend to get the same thing every time I visit Golden Bird. I really enjoy their Golden Bites. This time I branched out and tried a dinner with greens. I thoroughly enjoyed them. I will definitely return.Parking: There was plenty of parking when I went. View all feedback.
What Manofskillz doesn't like about Golden Bird:
You have never tasted fried chicken that tastes like this. Every piece was cooked to perfection. The crust is different, unique abd very good. I would love to know the recipe. View all feedback.
DON 'T nobody better not say nothin ' ' bout my Golden Bird. It ain 't like it used to be back in the day, but I still lick my fingers !!Food: 4/5
The Best fried chicken I 've ever tasted ! I remembered we used to buy it in Compton in Central AVE. In the 70 's but they closed that place , and now we drive from Orange County to L.A. Just to get that very special tasty and crunchy chicken , it is a bit pricey but it is well worth it. So flavorful and crunchy , I bought the chicken With french fries (the give you a lot of them with a tasty seasoning salt) and that super cole slaw salad and sweet pickles that gives that special flavor to the fried chicken, and the corn bread and biscuits they include with your meal. I don 't mind driving that far when we crave for one of the BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN THE U.S.

I spent $21.08 on a 2 piece breast meal with 2 sides. For my sides I ordered candied yams with mac cheese. Here’s my review. The mac cheese was literally pre cooked noodles mixed with a slightly bland but cheese like sauce. It gets a 1 out of 10The yams were kind of sweet with a taste of cinnamon but they weren’t as soft as they could’ve been and lacked in flavor. They get a 2 out of 10The chicken was battered instead of breaded which is different and I liked the idea but it didn’t ‘wow’ me with flavor. It was dry. It tasted like it was simply seasoned with salt and black pepper which gave it a very basic taste. The chicken also tasted like it had been sitting for a while and marinating in cooking oil. The crust was also very hard. It gets a 2 out of 10.With that being said I will never spend my money here again. The customer service was fair but it takes more than good customer service when it comes to a food establishment.
Danny did great on their NEW CHERRY LEMONADE ..... Food was delicious as well , will be back soon !!!
