After reading all the reviews about poor service and MALO being understaffed during peak meal times we decided to try it for an early dinner. The restaurant was not busy and the food was tasty and well prepared. Portions are nicely sized and their chips and salsa and guacamole are good. A nice choice for Mexican food when you're in the Silverlake area. read more.

The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and have something in pleasant weather.

The restaurant was nearly empty and not clean. We were seated on the patio since it was dark and smelly inside. Our server displayed odd behaviors. The food was of mediocre quality and a poor value. read more.
