This place is hands down The Best Ramen spot in Los Angeles!!! The Edemame topped with Eel sauce is delish and their Gyoza with the dipping sauce is yummy too.My favorite is the Blaze with pork bellyParking: There is a parking lot behind the restaurant with meters, but it's very difficult to get a parking spot. There's free parking on the street since it is in a residential area. But again, it's hard to find parking.... View all feedback.
What Tom Allen doesn't like about Ramen of York:
The place has good food if you can get it on time. Unfortunately we had to walk out recently. Just a simple order too. Took 45 minutes and the other twosome who sat down after us was eating already. There 's no excuse for that. We had a couple of simple rice bowls, lol. It seems when I checked with other friends they 've had problems with the timely service. I 'm guessing it has something to do with what 's going on... View all feedback.
Pretty good spot! They serve big yummy bowls of ramen big enough to share with someone. We came on a Monday night and waited maybe 15 minutes before being seated. Friendly staff and yummy food. Great for a date night!
If you?re reading this review in search of your next food stop, your search is over. We ordered takeout on a weeknight and were blown away. We ordered the blaze ramen which is mildly spicy, and the broth was thick and flavorful, with just the right amount of kick. We also ordered the chicken karaage bowl, which is deep fried chicken layered with yummy avocado, spicy aioli, green onion and teriyaki sauce. Every bite was simply scrumptious. This will be a family takeout staple for sure.
Great little neighborhood wheel shop. Nice staff, delicious food. The lunch special is a lot of food (salad, rice bowl, ramen), totally worth it
For the first time came from me. They are very polite and patient. The food is great and peaceful. I can relax.
I called to order three different ramen, and they said 15 min, I came in 10, waited 5, and got my food to enjoy at home. Everything was separated the way I asked and we had a lovely dinner. I ordered the classic, the blaze, and the shoyu. The taste and texture of the noodles and toppings were great. The noodles were a bit stuck together I think next time I'll have to reheat the broth again just to make sure it loosens the noodles more. This is a function of take out since when I used to eat there in person I never had that issue. Over three ramens, the half egg was not consistent. Some yolks were more well done than others. I'd say only one out of three were the perfect ramen egg. Still, it's the closest ramen place that can fulfill my ramen cravings and it's relatively easy for me to pick up. The noodles are vegan, which is a plus since my son has a dairy allergy.
