This place was such a fun find! We went here for happy hour before a Dodgers game, and absolutely loved the chill tropical climate. The speakers are one of my coolest and most favorite features, a very analog, unique old-school sound. What J doesn't like about The Semi-tropic:
Wow you guys want to insert yourself in a quiet neighborhood and bring live bands here?? Really? Really? Typical hipsters. You don’t respect the neighborhood period. You guy just don’t. Honestly. This was a peaceful neighborhood before you guys showed up. You don’t respect the neighbors that are hard working and trying to get a nice and noiseless sleep when you have crowds yelling and talking all night long. View all feedback.
Service was a bit slow even though it was pretty dead, but the drinks were good and the interior was nice.
