I normally wouldn't think of a penthouse restaurant on the top floor of a hotel right next to the freewayis the round hotel in Sunset & 405.

I enjoyed my experience at West Restaurant. Best egg whites and hash brown potatoes I’ve ever had. Great ambience, great view and great staff!

"There are a few other restaurants with good Taiwanese food and Chinese food but obviously I really don't think you can beat this. The food was incredible and the service was unbelievable. They clean every table after each customer they're super careful about contact precautions. I really love the dishes because they were not excessively greasy and I thought the ingredients were really good. The proportions were perfect I thought if anything the soup was massive which is great. I really enjoyed the different types of small appetizer plates you can get so that you can still fill up even if you don't think that your main dish is enough. You have a lot of variety and the seating is really fun because it's a great atmosphere with good lighting you still get to be around other people but it's not too crowded."
