"We asked for the empty table near the entrance and for some unknown reason that upset our server. Although, I 'm not sure if that was our server because we never saw him again. We might as well have been invisible. Waiters passed by us is a never ending parade and refused to make contact. I had to repeatedly ask servers to provide service. It took two hours to get our meal. The food was ok but overpriced for what you got. Had to make myself some toast when we got home because my portion was so small. Smokey Joe 's down the road was packed while there were a lot of empty tables here. I suspect that the glory days for Beans and Rice have passed and the wait staff is done with serving gringos that don 't come in dripping with money. Also, Yelp lists that they accept credit cards but I was sternly told cash only by the head waiter. Glad we had enough. Lots of other excellent food options in Los Barriles, don 't waste your time and money here."

"Best tacos around in Los Barilles. After trying several other places out, we heard about this one and gave it a try. We ate here every single day thereafter until we left Los Barilles. The service is great and the place keeps nice and cool even on hot days with lots of shade and fans. The tacos come with only meat on them; the restaurant has a walk up kiosk with all the fixings you could possibly want and more to load up your tacos the way you like them. They are open for breakfast and close at 3pm. Hope you enjoy!"

"The best: the staff is super attentive and helpful. Right after we were leaving the place my girlfriend's blood pressure went down due to a heat stroke. We came back in, they let me sit her on the sofa for her to lay there and then set a fan for her to catch some air and provided ice. Thank you guys so much. the food is also delicious. We had a a poke bowl and sandwich that were delicious outstanding view and easy access to the beach To improve: it might be a bit tricky to find the entrance to the place, but defo worth finding it as it is an amazing spot"

"Vegans! Take note this is one of the few restaurants in it's general area that will make you vegan food. We came every night during our stay for the vegan tacos made with sautéed veggies that come with amazing guacamole, pico de gallo and salsa all on the side. This is not on the menu so be specific when you order. And for non-vegans, the shrimp tacos are to die for!"
