What User likes about Happy:
Pretty good bar. As there’s not so many options in Pakbeng, this is a good place to cool down after a long trip on the slow boat. You should be welcomed with a free shot by a really friendly lady. Beers are cheap so does the cocktails. You can also enjoy a nice view on the Mekong river. Recommended. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Happy:
The service is very disappointing, they sold drinks 1 min. before they close the light and music so just be aware that the bar close at 11:30 pm (maybe because we visit in the off season) View all feedback.

Awesome dive bar in the jungle. Drinks are fair price and they offer beer pong, pool, darts and strong drinks

Could be better, could be worse The menu us huge but they have about half of them actually available to order Beer pong and darts available

"My friend and I stopped here with friends on the slow boat. my bf and I had x2 laos curries with tofu and pumpkin, x2 Papaya salads, a big beer and a green tee. the salad was the crispy and fresh tasting and our curry came hot and full of taste. the meal was only shy of 100, 000 kip (only less than a ten) we were there for a few hours socialism and the atmosphere was great. the place is very casual eating arrives when it is ready and the owner may forget her drink when it is busier! he speaks great English and is looking forward to any diet! great location with some tables about the search for the flow ensure to wear moskito when they plan to sit there!"

"Visiting Pakbeng would be absolutely prescinding if it were not because it is a duty to stop one night if you travel on the boat that takes you to luang prabang. a long street with unclean guest house and faces for what they offer. We chose the guest house of Pakbeng because of its proximity to the boat house and being only for one night we looked more at that detail than others. The restaurant of an inch more than doubtful, is badly served and the food leaves much to be desired and was more expensive than expected."
