Cafe de la Fontaine Lourmarin offers wonderful outdoor seating (under the umbrellas of course right next to the namesake fountain. My husband and I were in Lourmarin for the day and decided upon la Fontaine because of the traditional french dishes they offered. The food was ok, service deplorable, but what really ruined the experience were the numerous flies atacking our food for the duration of our lunch. If you are visiting Lourmarin, please know that there are other clean and pleasant looking restaurants if you walk a bit further.
The guy is nasty. Stay away. Used to be under different more welcoming ownership. Try Cafe Gay instead. As for quality of food, we never even bothered to eat here. It is not a restaurant. It is a bar.
Have enjoyed seafood pasta and truffle pasta, supplemented by 2 creams and burned cheeses. It was good. efficient service
Nice restaurant in the heart of this beautiful village. salads are good and copyy but a little expensive. I recommend you go.
