"We rented out the Flipside for a private party (6 YO birthday party) and it was amazing. The staff is very helpful and kind. The process was very smooth since you book the times online. I’d say the only thing that was difficult was the set up time. You only have 15 mins it’s prior to the party starting which creates a rush but we were able to manage it. Highly recommend having a private party here or even going to visit!"

"We LOVE this place! This is our go-to spot for the best rolls and the service is impeccable. The kani salad is confusing; we have ordered it 3 times and received a different dish each time! LOL Under no circumstances do I want lettuce in a kani or poki salad, which is why we never order them at Sushi Akai."
