I had high hopes that rancho alegre would be a great little hole in the wall place, like I miss from San Diego, but it was not. The food was average. The barbacoa simply tasted like plain roast beef. It had no spices in it, just onion. My husband said his dish was the same. The tortillas were good . The service was very friendly and quick. The food just wasn 't that good. Bummer.
