"When the delicious aroma of chocolate goods baking hit me, I knew I could walk out without purchasing a sample of things.It was near the end of the day on a Saturday and the counter was almost empty, so we decided to come back the next day to take a sample of the different baked good home to our family. There were gorgeous dainty looking and tasting pastel coloured French Macarons, that were placed in a pretty pink box that would be perfect for a wedding favour or a hostess gift. Not only did these look so pretty, the were so delicious! I also purchased a chocolate tart that was made with a dark chocolate and had a shortbread crust. My husband and son who are not big on desserts both loved these as they were not super sweet and had great quality chocolate taste.I also purchased a key lime tart...this was to-die for.I live in a small town and do not have these good quality choices available at our bakery. I will definitely make a stop the La Toque Patisserie anytime I am coming to Wakefield. I am going to be dreaming about their desserts for a long time to come!"
