"Serengeti wings were nice and spicy. Entrees seem to be focused on fish, which isn't my thing. The rice with beef was underwhelming as the beef was extremely tough. Good selection of African beer."

"This facility was a great, fast place to get food until about a month ago. I sat for almost an hour when I last went and decided to try again today because it was 430 in the afternoon and could not be so busy. Low and behold, they are still so slow and have secured a line because they cannot be “fast food” never again eating here."

"Food is good. Love that the tortillas are freshly made on site. Rice was oddly really greasy. Kids were not particularly fond of the greasiness of the rice. Although, my fajitas were quite good. Decor is nice and kids had fun."

"I always get the chicken katsu bento and I love it every time. The portions are pretty large in my opinion. The lady who takes our order is also kind and polite. Sometimes we eat outside in the back when the weather is nice too. Overall, great food and customer service."

"We said Las Brisas is the most beautiful restaurant in the city, and I am inclined to believe it even if it is the only one I visited in Lubbock. Let me first say that I have hashimotos, which requires that I be completely gluten-free. Most of my reviews focus on bringing this information to the growing number of people who need to be careful in restaurants because of their own health diagnosis. Las Brisas is somewhat sympathetic for gluten-free diners, even if it is in a rural city. This is pleasantly surprising and I am glad that I was able to get a meal that I could eat next to a salad, but it is obvious that they still learn how to do this. I warned our waiter on our arrival that I was strictly gluten-free and he informed me that he would bring the gluten-free menu. However, I had to remind our waiter that we needed the menu a while later, so we didn't have much time to look at our options, like all others. Our waiter was aware of what menu points were gf and what was not good. He was also very friendly and prompt with the rest of our service. We ordered an appetizer sampler with an option that was gf for me to eat and various fried foods for all others. Unfortunately it was covered in the not gluten-free bread period of the Calamari, which sat right next to the plate. It would have been really nice to consider placing the gf items separately. I'm sure nobody thought twice about it, but it meant we spent $60 on a starter I couldn't have a bite. The food varied a bit in quality for the price, but by and large it was very good. We ordered the appetizer sampler with filled shrimps, crab cakes and Calamari. Although I didn't eat anything, I was told that it was good. The calamari and crab cakes were the favorites of all. I have a side salad with blue cheese that was beautiful and the Las Brisas salmon that was also good. I wanted the salmon to be seasoned more under the cream sauce, but I like to be my fish well seasoned. It was very tasty and the salmon was very delicately cooked. My partner ordered the raspberry fillet, which is also on the gf menu and it was To-Die-For. It was absolutely the price with pecan encrusting, raspberry sauce on the side, and the creamy potatoes. 10/10 entry option. I wish I had ordered it myself. Everyone said Las Brisas was a nice restaurant with good service and several good options for gluten-free diners."
