"On the occasion of the Pianeta terra Festival in Lucca, I had dinner two evenings in this restaurant near the San Francesco Church. Excellent food, very friendly and helpful staff. I really appreciated the menu limited to a few varieties of dishes because it ensures the high quality and freshness of the products. The service is very fast and the owner is a very pleasant person who provides the knowledge and tradition of Genoese cuisine inherited from her grandmother. Restaurant with simple and genuine dishes that are absolutely worth trying. Kid-friendliness: Quiet place suitable for families"

"This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide, unfortunately it did not live up to his rave reviews. We were looking for a seafood restaurant and although they do serve fish the dishes were small, pretentious, and not very good. The small soup with octopus was delicious and we had high hopes which were quickly squashed. The mushroom risotto was very good but the celeriac ravioli was a strange concoction that did not have much resemblance to ravioli and was not very appetizing when tasted. The fried turbot was 90% bones so it left much to be desired. There’s a real chance of somebody choking on this dish someday. The fried shellfish dish was dry and overcooked. For close to 100 euros this was a big disappointment. Glad we didn’t for the wine although maybe that would have made us forget how bad the meal was in the end."
