they skip this place. it has the best ice. much taste. the lady who worked there was really nice. a place that must be one when they are in lucca.

How beautiful and delicate this shop is. Amazing icecream, try the Cannelloni, topped with chocolate or pistacio, all served with a smile

"Whilst staying in Lucca we tried a few gelato's but once we found this one there was no comparison anywhere in Lucca and possibly all of Italy, which really means the world as this is the home of the gelato. The staff are superb and very helpful. The quality of the ice cream is phenomenal. And the cakes well have a look at the photos. If in Lucca of an evening take a stroll through S. Elisa gate to this gelato you will not be dissappointed. Be prepared to queue with the locals for a few minutes as this is a popular shop!!"
