Simple margherita and stuffed bread (piadina? , delicious and crispy chickpea pancake (which I have only ever had in Genova Farinata and plentiful wine. Paid about 13 eur for two people, limited seating, so great for a quick meal. View all feedback.

One of the worst places in Italy. The way a pizza is served is something so stupid. They throw 3 slices of pizza on the plate and you only have salami on one slice. The service is dire. "I am a vegetarian and whilst in Lucca we found this amazing restaurant. My partner who is not vegetarian said he loved it too. The ravioli in a walnut sauce was so good I am going to try and recreate it at home. The pasta with truffles my partner had was excellent too. We found this place on our last night we wish it had been sooner!"

"Whilst staying in Lucca we tried a few gelato's but once we found this one there was no comparison anywhere in Lucca and possibly all of Italy, which really means the world as this is the home of the gelato. The staff are superb and very helpful. The quality of the ice cream is phenomenal. And the cakes well have a look at the photos. If in Lucca of an evening take a stroll through S. Elisa gate to this gelato you will not be dissappointed. Be prepared to queue with the locals for a few minutes as this is a popular shop!!"
