"Living in Pensacola, Florida we have a surplus of fresh seafood to feast on but whole fried catfish is hard to come by. We recently found ourselves in Lucedale, Mississippi on a Saturday round' lunch after looking at the menu we knew Rocky Creek would be the place for us. Our expectations were confirmed when we arrived at Rocky Creek, situated on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, and the parking lot was packed. We weren't even sure where all the people came from but one thing was certain- they were all here for the catfish fixins'. The food was damn good, some of the best fried catfish we've ever had. My mama I both had whole fried, my husband had filet it was equally as good. The fish is seasoned perfectly fried to a crispy golden brown. All you can eat is served with some fine hushpuppies with cheese sauce for dippin', fries or a baked potato, some good ole' homemade coleslaw. Wash it down with the ice cold sweet tea your belly will surely thank you. I wish I could tell yall what they offer for dessert but I'm guessing most folks, like us, are too full on fish for anything else. If you're in this area be sure not miss Charlie's U-Pik for the best fresh vegetables around, that's how we ended up at Rocky Creek."
