I have eaten at 15-20 different grottos (grotti) in Ticino. I rate Grotto del Pep one of the top two for food and drink. My wife and I had a leisurely lunch, enjoying the excellent barbecued pork ribs and polenta with porcini. Salad was OK too. The wine choices were also better than is typical for grotti. The setting outside was pleasant but not great – many are better. Service was friendly and good. read more.
