"My main complaint was the dine-in experience, but maybe I'm approaching this restaurant wrong and it would be a lot more enjoyable as takeout only. The rice was honestly the best rice I've ever had, idk what magic went into it but I'm tempted to go back just for the rice. Other items were good enough to enjoy. It was weird to be seated without any water; there's a drinks fridge in the front but I guess I was expecting regular dine-in restaurant procedures. The waiter didn't seem happy to be there himself. He was the only there and was in the kitchen almost the whole time, so my friend and I were awkwardly the only ones sitting in the dining area without anyone else for most of the time, not a huge issue but atmosphere felt very odd. Weirder yet at the end he tried to motivate us to tip if we get free water ??isn't the expectation to just tip? Are people not tipping here? . The owner's responses on some of these reviews match well with the socially awkward experience of dining in here lol. Recommend takeout."
