"Good pitstop with excellent service and lots of seating. Nice variety of bites but food could be improved (eg. blue cod fish chips was bland and turkey piece was dry). Loved the cordon bleu so maybe you can try that!"

"Delightful place to stop on a road trip. The locals were also there also which shows that the food (which was delicious) is consistent. Staff were cheery and friendly. They sold assorted natural beauty products, at a very reasonable price. Lovely spot to come across."

"Quaint and homey gift shop cafe in Mossburn with some of the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten. We stopped over for breakfast on our drive from Te Anau to Queenstown, and got the bacon eggs $13.50) scrambled) with toast, and the pancakes with mixed berries, fresh cream, yoghurt maple syrup $13.50). The pancakes were so light and fluffy, and the accompaniments were so delicious that I wolfed down all my pancakes immediately and I wasn’t even that hungry to begin with). Coffee was good as well. The gift shop also has interesting things to look at while you wait for your food."
