I had my first lunch special today, and was quite disappointed.It was hamburger steak and mashed potatoes. The hamburger steak and bread was hard as a rock- salad wet and soggyI usually half my lunch and eat the second half for dinner or the next day.The hamburger steak was so disappointing. I had the fried pork chop, red beans , rice and salad. Very pleased with taste and serving size.
Excellent selection of meats and local favorites. Great staff that is very friendly and helpful.

The best meat deals in town! Everything is fresh, the beer is ice cold, and the hot lunches are absolutely delicious! This has become my husband and my new favorite spot!
I tried their lunch special for the first time today and was quite disappointed. I ordered the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, both the hamburger steak and the bread were rock hard, and the salad was wet and soggy. Usually, I split my lunch in half to enjoy the second portion for dinner or the next day, but the hamburger steak was so underwhelming that I’m likely going to throw the other half away. Perhaps this was just an off day for them. I'll give another lunch special a try before deciding whether to return for more.
