This small bar located in Lutsen Resort surprised me. I had the BBQ turkey sandwich and it was AMAZING! The fries were amazing. Flavorful and crispy. My daughter had the Mac and cheese which she also enjoyed. My other daughter had grilled cheese which was good. The kids meals also come with a side and fruit which I really like. What User doesn't like about Poplar River Pub:
they have changed their menus completely. now it is over expensive burger and pizza. the cheese curd mac and cheese were not what we expected at all. they were noodles without real cheeses. it was only cheese with bacon bits and a crushed pulp. we loved this place when it was actually bar type eating at a reasonable price.
