This was a trip with tour during New Year's Eve and everyone was so tired and hungry. In the last few days we never have Thai food. As tour guide K. Ying told us we had Thai food for lunch, we were so happy. And then we tasted Kang Kiev Warn and Pad Kapao, they were so delicious and authentic. Mr. Rung Restaurant made me miss home so much. I strongly recommend if you really love real Thai food.
We had 2 great dinners at Mr. Rung, a nice and very welcome change of tastes after travelling through Switzerland for a week. The beef noodle(kway teow soup had beef which was so tender and tasty. You can adjust the chilli heat for the dishes which allowed for our kids to enjoy all. Pad thai with chicken was authentic, not too sweet and not too tangy. And the sauteed beef fillet with delicious family recipe thai sauce is a great order. Beer is cheap and dishes are great value compared to other fares in Switzerland. And to top it off, very friendly service by Mr. Rung (jr. A lovely short walk across the river from old town.
