We literally came in at 8:00pm on 4 2 22, we ordered drinks and literally set for 55 minutes before they came to take our order. Then we ordered drinks again and literally got nothing but a cup of cranberry juice. So Disappointed View all feedback.

Afterward, we headed to the Appalachian Outpost for some souvenirs and essentials for our ATVs. Out of all the places we visited during our trip, this was definitely our group's favorite!
The restaurant needs significant improvement in terms of staff efficiency. While the food is good, the wait times were excessively long.
"We arrived at the restaurant around 7:50 PM and saw that there were three more tables seated at that time. A woman handed us menus and instructed us to pass them around. A waiter then came by to take our drink orders, and we asked to place our food order at 7:50 PM. At no point were we informed that the kitchen was running behind schedule. By 8:50 PM, we still hadn’t received our food, so we inquired about it and had to go to the bar to get drink refills since the waiter never checked on us. Each time we passed by the kitchen, our appetizer sat unattended for 20 minutes before finally being brought out at 9:15 PM. Meanwhile, other guests who were seated after us received their food without delay, and no one ever came to apologize or explain the situation to us. Finally, at 9:30 PM, our meals arrived after we had been waiting for nearly two hours. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. The cheese on my dish was overly seasoned, and the pineapple seemed poorly prepared, consisting of just a few small pieces in the bun. At 9:50 PM, we asked for the check and once again had to go to the bar to retrieve it. The manager did offer a free appetizer to another table near us as a result of their wait, but we never received any acknowledgment of our situation. When I spoke with the owner, I asked if there could be any adjustment to our bill due to the two-hour wait. She responded dismissively, stating that she couldn’t be expected to have a full staff on a weekday. Additionally, I mentioned that we had rented cabins from Appalachian Outpost and BAC Rentals, which were wonderful experiences. But her tone was rude and condescending towards me and our entire group. She simply gave us 10% off and never apologized for the inconvenience. This experience with her was deeply disappointing, and I don’t believe this establishment will be able to survive with such treatment of guests. We frequently visit the area and will make sure to inform our friends and groups to avoid this restaurant. It’s a shame for the owner!"
Awesome place and amazing staff!!!!They will do anything for you to make you smile and full your belly with good food and cold beer! It's a must stop in the area and the nicest place in the county to eat and only place to watch sports.
