"We stopped here on spec for a lunch while we were in Sidmouth. And we're pleased that we did. Lovely little cafe and busy too! The staff were friendly and attentive and the food delivered. I had the jacket potato with mushrooms+stilton, and there were plenty of both plus a dressed salad, and coleslaw. Very reasonably priced, too. Free wifi available too, which was a bonus as Sidmouth is dire for mobile networks. Parking: This cafe has no parking. You'll need to find somewhere on street or in one of Sidmouth's pay+display car parks. Wheelchair accessibility: Tables in the street facing part of the cafe would be suitable for a wheelchair. I think that you'd struggle to get a wheelchair down to the courtyard through the cafe itself. Perhaps there is another route into the courtyard."

"The best pizza I've ever had!! Couldn't not fault it at all, the pizza was absolutely delicious, the staff were so kind and the service was quick. We ate here twice during our holiday and got takeaway once and it was consistently incredible. I was very impressed with the takeaway service as I called up and was able to collect my pizza within 10 minutes, but I can imagine this would take longer for larger orders and at busier times. Bear in mind that it can get very busy so if you are are hoping to get a table in the evening, make sure to book in advance. However, we found walking in at lunch time without a booking wasn't a problem. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough, it's an absolute must to eat at if you're visiting Lyme Regis!!"

"We ate inside on a Saturday night. Excellent service welcoming front of house staff. The pass is inside the restaurant area which was a nice design as you could see the chef placing food out, and gave you a nice nosey to look at the other dishes which was being made. Food was excellent, no faults with portion size spot on. Scallops had dived in the local bay too. Amazing. Service: Dine in"

"Good tea, cream, and jam. The scones were not my favorite. The coffee was a mite expensive and just okay. The atmosphere was not great, but that was due to some extremely loud folks with children making so much noise in the small space. It took an unusually long time for us pay to the point where I had to stand in the middle of the pathway and flag someone to pick up the card reader and let me out of the place. Service: Dine in"

"One of our starters, Arancini balls, arrived uncooked and when we politely told the waitress it was returned to the kitchen and after a considerable wait it was returned but still not properly cooked. The other starter, garlic bread, had a cardboard consistency and looked as if it came from a budget supermarket. We ate it because we’d been there ages and were hungry. We then waited nearly an hour for the main courses which were very disappointing. The fish pie was molten hot but mushy and obviously blasted in a microwave. The hake special was anything but and tasteless. We told the waitress in quite a discreet way so as not to cause a fuss and she called the manageress who was not particularly bothered. Her excuse for the uncooked starter was that ‘everyone makes mistakes’ although in our view not cooking something is quite a big mistake by the chef. Because we didn’t send the main courses back straight away she didn’t apologise or offer a discount. The ambience was poor freezing cold inside. The atmosphere wasn’t enhanced by the large group of teenagers, obviously well known to the staff, hanging around on the outside decking and making the most of the electric heaters, which were badly needed inside. We definitely won’t go back."
