I am an enthusiastic tee lover and had to look at this place! the food was wonderful! had the hot cake and chicken salad/soup, which was great! the warm crumb dessert with custard was super. I bring my galen friends to lunch as we always look for fun great places to lunch. I recommend to them to be pampered by his ambiente great waiting staff!"

"First time I tried this place, just a few weeks ago, I was in the mood for some nice, fresh sushi! I ordered a Shrimp Tempura and California Roll.The 1 thing I can't stand in sushi is when the seaweed is soggy!! Hence; I only purchase FRESH sushi. I paid $15 and still received soggy seaweed wraps. I'm assuming they made it fresh, since it took over 10 minutes to make, but I'm not sure as all the cooking is done in a backroom with curtains so you cannot see what's going on (not like your typical open sushi counter).Maybe it was fresh, the other parts tasted fresh. It's possible the rice was just too wet, I don't know? I personally would not go back here to order sushi maybe the other food is better?Parking: I only saw parallel parking down this narrow street, shared by all businesses. However; I didn't have a problem finding a spot on a weekday around 2pm."

"Unique place in downtown Lynchburg. It 's a smaller venue so be ready to wait a while, but it will be worth it. Close to the riverfront. Interesting décor like none other. Sarah was our server and she was awesome, very attentive. She was well versed in the PPT of the oysters and this is always refreshing. The raw oysters are amazing and they have daily deals at happy hour for the raw offerings. We each ordered the Hair of the dog bloody Mary that go for $20 each. I posted a photo and I was not a fan. It is topped with tasty food and this was a great appetizer. The alcohol content was just right, not weak, and not so much that it was overpowering. Where it lost me was the particulate viscosity. There seemed to be chunks of black pepper, and other pieces that just didn 't feel right. Maybe it was a texture thing? I ordered a soda and sipped on it throughout the meal until the others finally came clean that they were not a fan either. One person with us does not eat oysters and ordered a regular bloody Mary and it did not have the particulate as this specialty one did. The deviled egg pasta salad was odd. I like pasta and deviled eggs, but after tasting it I think those two should be kept separate. The pretzel bites are a tasty starter, and the mustard dipping sauce is good, although it has mustard seeds in it. The chicken avocado wrap is amazing. Fried pickles are served hot and crunchy. The Rachel Reuben is tasty, and I 'm not usually a fan of Reuben 's."
