literally the worst service we've ever had in relation to any other place we've ever been. My wife and I both ordered the chicken tortilla soup.
I was concerned about some of the notes given here on this restaurant, but I thought that any place that remained open for 70 years must be done

"I would definitely not recommend this place as the servings are ridiculously small ! The waitress was overacting her smile which is quite annoying*. WATCH OUT and pay attention to the bill. Indeed, in the case you share the bill amongst other guests, they would...charge you more than expected. Do not trust them as we did : the waitress did not show us the bill and she charged us more than what we should have paid in order to TIP HERSELF lmao... Not playing fair with the customer. Such a disgrace. Better wear a genuine smile than faking one. As she they appear(s to be of bad-faith, they would probably demonstrate it by replying here I will certainly not bother myself to read it : Sourire hypocrite de la serveuse, portions ridicules, 8€ le dessert pour une crêpe extra fine, des amandes et de la chantilly ?!! Idem pour les crêpes salées. Faut pas avoir faim! ATTENTION aux additions groupées, la serveuse se prendra sa marge et pourboire en arrondissant largement au-dessus, de très mauvaise foi de plus est, masqué par son sourire forcé. Les potentiels futurs clients verront certainement une réponse du restaurateur à ce commentaire. Adresse à oublier et vite ! Mauvais rapport qualité quantité prix. "You know when you read praiseworthy Google comments and you go and then you say: But why...? But how is it possible??? It's us with Menthe Poivrée. I put a star for the adorable waitress and small care, a star for the cute scenery full, super clean... But then the food...0 but a real 0. A drink type infusion of plants with 4 euros without taste, while I love fresh infusions home, it's very difficult to get taste, have to know how to do, then when you sell the glass 4 euros... And then the dishes... portions too small, rice not cooked enough (although a bit crunchy), tiny hulls, chorizo rikiki tips, and crunchy steam vegetables like that, without anything on it. Fades, little ones, not original. The final bouquet is the price, almost 40 euros to two. We went out, we were hungry and so disappointed. I can only talk about our unique experience, one day J, but we'll go back."

"Attirés au départ par la belle terrasse sur la place Voltaire, son charmant mobilier et les plantes (utilisées par le chef pour la cuisine !) pour prendre un verre, nous sommes finalement restés pour le dîner. La cuisine est généreuse (belles portions de terrine et de ravioles), gourmande (mention spéciale au poulet au vinaigre) et les hôtes très sympathiques. Je recommande chaudement !"

"A very nice experience. We were welcomed. The dishes as tasty as the others. Taste, textures, product quality were palpable. I even saw the chef go through the kitchen preparing our desserts: he prepared a small work of art with a precise and concentrated gesture. I can't wait to find other maps. Thanks again."

"I like what I like in the restaurant, it's good food, and the amount in the plate. This is gastro, small plates, but a lot of dishes. I'm not done leaving the restaurant anymore. dishes are excellent, multiple flavors in a single fork, it is really impressive. the staff is up to date and out of care, they communicate well their passion for restoration, it's nice to have been able to discuss it with them. Now, I know what a real gastro is, I understand that I had never done a good gastro before: wanting to come back, wanting to discover the others!"
