Cafe du Commerce - Lyons-la-Forêt

Have had lunch a feee times, always friendly staff and a good lunch menu with a daily special. Nice terrace when the sun is out, great location and if Benoit is around always a pleasure to chat with him.

Great location, but very ordinary menu. cannot honestly recommend. Ok for burgers for the kids, but chevre salad disappointing, house wine rose and red terrible

Very nice terrace on ideal location. A bit noisy due to traffic. We only had a sparkling water. We ordered 2 Perriers and the weather brutely shouted : Badoits. Clear for us to understand that the served local sparkling water was not our preferred brand. No problem but he could say this nicely also. Apart from the nice location, not really a place I would recommend.

This little cafe was the only place open when we visited Lyons la Foret on a cold day in November. We had a pleasant lunch of a large ham salad for 9 euros and a huge Savoyard bruschetta. Unlike other reviewers we found the service to be quick and efficient.

Excellent location - in the main city square. Food was tasty but nothing special. Service is very long. We wait almost one hour but maybe we were unlucky. Some people around us received their meals quite fast. Waiters are welcoming.
