La Chilanguita - Lyons

As other critics mentioned, this is really a hidden gem! There are many Mexican places nearby, but I love this place because everything tastes homemade. I ordered the eggs with potato alchicha (hot dogs), Gordita al pastor, chicken silk, Barbacoa taco Flan. My favorites were the Barbacoa taco on a handmade maize tortilla of the al pastor Gordita. The Gordita scarf the Sope Shell seemed both handmade. All right! They gave me two kinds of salsa: the red was mild, the greener was spicy. They also carry Mexican pepsi, which I rarely see in restaurants. Service was quickly friendly for the execution of orders. Definitely will return.

Fantastic tamales, rice and chips with salsa. We will definitely return. We ordered four dozen Tamale, a large pan of rice with roasted beans, chips and salsa and a green Chile sauce. Leftovers are great the next day.

This is a small restaurant operated by a family. I had a tostadas and a taco, both were very good! No iced tea, so I asked for hot tea and a big glass of ice cream. Nothing beautiful, but very clean! You start with a free small bowl of soup, delicious.

Steak Tacos are very good lots of meat .very friendly and quick service will come back again
