Love them! Best donuts in the South Island. Pies are amazing too! Highly recommend. Pricing is not to bad. Definitely check it out if your in the area.

"Great customer service. Fitted us in with good grace as we were without reservations on a busy night. The house cut chips are the best I’ve had anywhere… this is what chips are meant to be like. Please don’t change them. The tomato sauce used on chips, and the tomato sauce on the pizzas is crazy good. We loved our Mamaku pizza. This is relaxed dining done right. Lovely people, nice setting and high quality ingredients crafted into delicious food."

"Had a wonderful evening here recently. We were a large party of 10 but were accommodated without any problem. The food was delicious, it was fantastic to have so many gluten-free options as two of our party were coeliacs. We enjoyed both the pizza and pasta dishes. Great family-friendly atmosphere. "Lovely warm relaxed ambience. Green smoothie has spice heat and zing! So gooood! The risotto cake with unexpected side salad was delicious and the ginger nut crunch hit the sweet spot perfectly. It’s rustic, it’s confident it’s truely a slice of bohemian Lyttelton. Great views t top it off and a wood burning fire. Go!"

"A nice wee cafe with a really great outdoor area for kids, something that you don't find in cafes often.<br/>The decor was awesome and a really comfortable and friendly setting, the lady who served us was lovely and made sure we were happy throughout the night. <br/>The meal me and my partner had was amazing, we took up the 2 for 1 pizza deal and was not disappointed. <br/>The dessert however- chocolate mousse was a wee bit too rich and heavy which let us down. <br/>All in all though, very happy with the service and will definitely be back."
