"We have been coming here since it opened, behind the fish counter. I highly recommend the food though I was disappointed when the fish platter starter became a fish and vegetables platter and we we’re paying a high price for veg in tempura with an absence of prawns and squid. My better half recommends the Sea Bass. I would always opt for the Haddock and Chips. I do suggest they consider a blackboard option of their fish (in the fridge) and serve with vegetables and spuds It would be a great way of clearing the decks of fish unsold in the shop. "Went out to REMS for one of the BEST family meals EVER on Good Friday Evening! A Fantastic selection of TAPAS all cooked to a very high standard, with a good selection of different gins for the wife too!! The kids even had a second portion of their favourite dish, long after the adults were full! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. It is easy to find being on the main street through Chapel-en-le-Frith."

"This cafe provides really excellent sandwiches and the soup was pretty good too. The bread is artisanal, provided by the attached bakery. The cake range was limited but I had a superb brownie and partner a very good ginger flapjack. The coffee was fine too (Americano). The service was top notch. The two staff on duty really wanted to please and did so. Nice friendly people. However. Nine quid for a sandwich is steep, no matter how good. I had the £2.50 soup and sand deal so I was set back £11.50. Yes, a small amount of nicely dressed salad came with, but the veg crisps were dropped in the S S deal. This isn't right, surely. It might be fussy to say that the bread in the sandwich (sourdough) was falling apart, which meant handling was a bit different, so thicker slices might be a good idea. Again, for 9 smackers you don't expect mayo to be running down your hand. On the plus side, the pastrami was thick (well done). Would I go back? Certainly. But only if I was feeling flush. Note too that the cafe is small and not a place for those who like a bit of space around them when they eat."
