"2020 Update: Vegan fudge not eligible for mail orders, as they ONLY make it during the summer. : Earlier: I travelled almost 2,200 miles from Nevada to Mackinac Island. Just for the vegan fudge. I haven't had fudge for almost 25 years. I stumbled into the store and got a sample. OMG. Sheer bliss. Only vegan flavor is dark chocolate. Life can't get better than that. I didn't care how much it cost. Between 2 stores, I bought 6 POUNDS! That should last me a while I just emailed their office to thank them for making the fudge. Hopefully, that will show that vegans want junk sweets and won't discontinue it : Updated from previous review on 2016-08-11"

"I'm a southern guy who grew up with very fine and delicate meat. Let me tell you this place has some of the best chickens and meat I've ever had. I had food in over 6 countries and this place is in place OR BETTER. The owner is very nice and it is a great atmosphere. The wine was incredible and everything they cook is fresh. Recommend to anyone who just likes good food and friendly people. When you come to the island, this place is a MUST."

"Wonderful romantic dining experience. My wife and I were guests of hotel and selected Chianti to celebrate our anniversary. We were not disappointed. The pre fix dinner and wine pairings were delicious. The service was outstanding. The view was amazing. Simon our server did a great job. Light piano music playing in the background. Highly recommend this for an upscale dining experience."

"Snooty host, waited a long time with no explanations on at least three occasions. Waiter was hot and cold in his politeness. For example, he found me some GF rolls (tho 20 min wait then reacted coldly when i asked for regular butter (vs. the sweetened butter given. . I swear the soup was canned, but the dollop of cheesy spatzle in the middle was good. My friend's side of mashed potatoes were $14 and she swears they were instant! I would not go back."
