"2020 Update: Vegan fudge not eligible for mail orders, as they ONLY make it during the summer. : Earlier: I travelled almost 2,200 miles from Nevada to Mackinac Island. Just for the vegan fudge. I haven't had fudge for almost 25 years. I stumbled into the store and got a sample. OMG. Sheer bliss. Only vegan flavor is dark chocolate. Life can't get better than that. I didn't care how much it cost. Between 2 stores, I bought 6 POUNDS! That should last me a while I just emailed their office to thank them for making the fudge. Hopefully, that will show that vegans want junk sweets and won't discontinue it : Updated from previous review on 2016-08-11"

"Fantastic lunch in Kingston Kitchen, at the Village Inn. Menu has a Jamaican-influenced take on many American favorites, tastefully without the heat, as well as Jamaican Faves. I had the Calypso Pork Sandwich, consisting of very delicate jerk pig, melted cheddar, pineapple relish and crispy onions above. I'm glad I skipped the Brioche beung, the place for my husband and I left to share most of this instantly slice of chocolate coconut cake. Wonderful food, great value."

"This restaurant probably has the most vegan options on the island. We tried the sweet potato veggie burger (make sure to ask for it without butter on the bun! and loved it. I also tried the Urban Baby Kale Blend, which had lots of greens, fruit, walnuts, and a delicious pomegranate vinaigrette. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"My wife and I had a spectacular meal in a beautiful environment last night at Chianti. It was one of the finest meals we have ever had anywhere. It was costly but worth it! Joseph, our server, was a consummate professional! We sat looking out onto the lake. Highly recommended! We plan on returning annually. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
