"What a delightful surprise Matilda's was. We booked late in the afternoon we arrived in Nambucca Heads but were luckily able to be squeezed in that night. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and although they were very busy, the staff were calm, friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was amazing! We had the mixed oysters which were to die for, we eat a fair few oysters and these were up there with the best we've ever had, if not THE best we've ever had. We also ordered the Zesty Prawn and Too Cheesy? pizzas and they too were the best ever pizzas we've eaten. And yes, we have a lot of pizzas too! All washed down with a refreshing and tasty carafe of Pimms. A thoroughly delicious and delightful evening and experience. Just wish you were closer to Sydney!
