I had dinner and breakfast a few weeks ago. I called in a pull-out dinner order and it was hot and waited for me when I arrived, but I saw a few friends and stayed to eat with them. The fish and chips were simply excellent. You can't beat these homemade chips! The mixed berry Cobbler was so good that I ordered gooseberry cake for breakfast the next morning. Just wow. Fantastic! What Brendan Monot doesn't like about Apple Basket:
The good: Service was great. The waitresses were friendly and kept my drink full. The sweet and spicy wings were tasty and the pie was delicious. The bad: The meat on my burger was so overcooked it was nearly inedible. It had no liquid left in the meat. Also it was $20 for a simple burger. There is also a 3% CC fee. Hopefully it was an off day today and the food will match the quality of the staff in the future. View all feedback.
Stopped. Oh, wow! The best onion rings I've ever eaten and then the hot turkey sandwich tasted like Thanksgiving. My friend had a rib eyes and it was cooked for perfection. This is my new favorite restaurant. Very friendly waiting staff too.
The service is always friendly and the food is always the best you can get I highly recommend Apple Basket
Excellent service and delicious food! We were having a little family get together for a cousin's birthday and they treated us like royalty.. Had the chocolate pie for dessert and it was to die for!
Their food is amazing I go there as much as I can they're definitely one of the best restaurants in Macon!!!
We walked in on a very busy night. The place was packed. Our waitress was running her legs off but they all were. They all were working very hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. They all worked as a team. I think the best thing I seen that night was Noah and Keri sorry if spelled wrong) jumped right in there to help their employees. You do not see that very often. The food was very good and so was the service. Thank you for showing people what hometown hospitality is. Y'all are doing an amazing job.
