What Cara Rolfson doesn't like about Tokyo Laundry:
$ 18 Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box was terrible. No pages, no miso. Just go to Amp Plaza (Tenya - $ 12.90) or Izakaya Masuya ($ 13.50) for lunch. Not sure what tries to be, the quality is worse than anything I just had $$$ like Sokyo / Sake. What Emiliano Rivera likes about Tokyo Laundry:
We went here before we go to the lively festival, and I loved the food here and I will continue here. The ambience here is beautiful, it has a fine meal feeling without it too expensive. Grief

We ordered the Katsu Chicken Curry, Salmon Poke Bowl, Plum Wine and Sushi. All were beautiful and of good quality. It was not very busy when we came here for dinner, but I expect it to be pretty much popular later. Grief... View all feedback.

read moreThe newly added Japanese Eatery in Kreiskai offers fresh dishes, but some aspects fall short. The price is reasonable, but the overall experience may not meet high expectations. Despite this, the restaurant has some standout dishes like cattle Tataki, Scallop Gratin, Kingfish with Jalapeño, and Confit Wagyu beef. While the service and ambience could use some improvement, the food quality shines through. With dishes like beef Tataki and Scallar Gratin, simplicity and flavor take the spotlight. Some dishes could benefit from more sauce, but overall, the food is satisfying. The service receives high praise, with attentive staff and a great drink selection. Customers have reported mixed experiences, with some enjoying the food and atmosphere, while others have complained about slow service and missing orders. Overall, the restaurant offers a mix of highs and lows, making it a place worth trying for those looking for a new Japanese dining experience in the area.
