"I go here at least 10 times a year, and that's more than any other fish and chips store anywhere around me. It's worth the drive to Mrs. H's ,normally she would get a 5 out of 5, but they changed their French fries to the skinny Stix that look like McDonald's fries, there were so many over cooked fries that I threw about a 3rd of them away. Ok so that's all of my complaints, the Fish is the best you can get anywhere, big chunks of delicious battered fish, with fresh squoze lemon and Tartar sauce, wash it all down with a coke, then just enjoy what happy feels like."

"Came on the advise of some locals and so glad we did. Got 2 pizzas one for the kids and one for the adults. Adults were unsure so the owner made us a custom pizza, soo good. Kids were a little picky but they made the toppings custom on each half of the pizza, so children were happy. I chatted with the owner for some time and she was kind enough to bring us some freshed baked chocolate chip cookies on the house.I would add a picture but the pizza was too delicious we just started eating."

"Lovely day for a drive to Port Carling. Patio not that busy. Waitress slow and more concerned about how she looked and flirting with tables of young men than delivering our food. Our waiting time was way over the top. Food very over priced. The pizza I had was worse than a Pizza Pizza, which I think is the worst on the market. The tipping system asks for way too much considering the poor service. Port Carling Turtle Jack's is now of our list."

"We ordered 2 Hamburger $22 every burger. This restaurant is very expensive. The menu is quite limited. We waited for our food for about 45 minutes. We wanted our Burger Medium to be cooked rarely. The waitress informed us that they had to cook well in Canada. I told her you didn't have to do it when you were freshly ground burgers. She said they didn't make their own burgers. At JW you get a cheap frozen burger. What is even worse was that the burger was precooked and sits in a warmer for but long. The burger was completely dry, so the bungalow was not juices. The cook seemed to have the frits undercooked and cook the burger. The second night of the meal wasn't better. The JW figures that you are a captured audience. There are not many places where you can find yourself nearby. Stay far away for lunch and dinner. The breakfast buffet is excellent... although for $30 per person. It's exaggerated!"

"Service and ambience were great as expected. But the $20 hamburg was really disappointing. I had read on TripAdvisor that they were mushy and the critic was right. Hamburg was mushy, not much taste to it and fries were slightly burnt and cold."

"We had a lovely table on the outdoor deck with views over Lake Muskoka. Service was satisfactory but the food was better than expected. I really enjoyed my seafood chowder, which was one of the best I've ever had. Also enjoyed the grilled calamari.If you're looking for a restaurant with great lake views and delicious food, Dock of the Bay would be a good choice."

"Definitely reason why it's the #1 rated restaurant in Gravenhurst. Had to make a reservation for a Friday night due to high demand. Service was good. Quality of appetizers were good. The generous portions for the main pastas was a pleasant surprise. The amount of protein in each dish was also overwhelmingly good. Had I not been so full, I definitely would have wanted to try out the desserts. The restaurant is located with a nice view of the lake in the patio. It's nice to accompany your dinner while watching the sun set. Definitely coming back whenever I'm back in the area!"
