Woodlands - Madakkathanam

One good choice when you're looking for a vegetarian restaurant. I've always liked the old woodlands hotel, and this is nothing different. The food is nice, pricing is fine. There is a separate family friendly Air conditioned section too. The uzhunnuvada served here is a must try. The crispiness is beyond explanation. Parking space is also enough. The only problem is that the food is really oily which makes me nauseous, personally speaking.

Kindly ensure the cleanliness of your restaurant, particularly the front area where customers dine, as it is visible to all while they enjoy their meals

Decent hotel on the Muvattupuzha thodupuzha highway. Ample parking in front of the hotel as well as a ground nearby. There is a hotel and a provisions shop attached which sells sweets, cakes, drink and ice creams. Breakfast was good and well made.

I have fond memories of the old Hotel Woodlands. The service there was average, and the food was alright. One interesting observation was the difference in food serving times between the air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned sections. For some reason, orders in the non-air-conditioned area were served more quickly. Despite these quirks, I would still recommend this hotel as a good choice within the locality, given its unique charm and possibly appealing to those who don't mind the minor service differences.
